A Bit About Me
Jason Perona is a retired veteran with 22 years of honorable service in the U.S. Armed Forces, having served in two branches—the Marine Corps and the Army. He brings a wealth of knowledge in Veterans benefits through both professional and personal experience. Jason currently works for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where he helps veterans navigate the benefits they have earned. His deep understanding of the application process comes not only from his role within the department, but also from firsthand experience utilizing these benefits himself.

In addition to his public service, Jason has a strong passion for building and construction. Prior to returning to government work, he owned and operated his own construction company. His extensive understanding of how homes are built and maintained makes him a trusted resource, and he is often called upon for advice when projects or home-related challenges arise.

When Jason isn’t serving his community or supporting clients, he enjoys spending time with his family. He loves camping whenever possible, playing guitar with his two sons, and gardening during the spring and summer months. His lifelong commitment to service, combined with his practical experience, allows him to guide clients with clarity, confidence, and genuine care.
Work Experience
1998 - 2021
2015 - Present
Military Service & Technical Operations: I spent over two decades serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, where I built a strong foundation in discipline, accountability, and problem-solving under pressure. My career exposed me to complex systems, strict standards, and high-stakes environments that required precision, teamwork, and calm decision-making. This experience shaped how I approach challenges today and gave me a deep understanding of service, responsibility, and helping others navigate important systems and processes.
Founder & Lead Craftsman: Founding and operating RW Repair & Construction allowed me to work closely with homeowners and investors while gaining firsthand insight into how homes function from the inside out. Leading residential remodels—from kitchens and bathrooms to full additions and outdoor living spaces—strengthened my ability to plan, communicate, and manage projects from concept through completion. This chapter reinforced my appreciation for craftsmanship, timelines, and client trust, while deepening my understanding of property value beyond surface appearance.
2024 - Present
Veterans Service Representative: My role as a Veterans Service Representative has brought my career full circle, allowing me to serve others in a direct, client-focused capacity. I work closely with veterans and their families to explain benefits, gather documentation, and guide them through complex processes with clarity and care. Through this work, I’ve refined my communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to advocacy—strengths I now apply as a VA-focused Inside Sales Agent by assisting clients with initial outreach, qualification, follow-up, and guidance through the early stages of the homebuying process.
